      Alpha Pi Omega Sorority was chartered as the Beta Chapter on the UNCP campus in 1997. The sorority was founded on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. The purpose of Alpha Pi Omega is to create a strong sisterhood that will serve as a support for college women in today’s society. The sisterhood shall support its members in their individual journeys toward a balanced life. The Alpha Pi Omega women will always strive for greater scholarship, honesty, leadership, service, and personal integrity. The sorority will work to preserve Native American traditions, for through celebrations and practice of our cultural and spiritual heritage, we become one with each other. http://www.geocities.com/alphapiomegasorority/ Phi Sigma Nu Fraternity was chartered on the UNCP campus in 1997.
